GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida, organised faculty orientation programme on the theme ‘Pedagogical innovations through academic excellence’ on June 26, 2018, at its Greater Noida campus in order to foster a positive relationship between the faculty and the institution.
Also aimed at to encourage the spirit of teamwork among its faculty members, the initiative was the result of efforts of GLBIMR Director-General Dr Urvashi Makkar.
The agenda of this programme was to familiarise new faculty members with the institutional policy framework, code of conduct, academic structure and teaching pedagogy.

Dr Makkar shared that the orientation programme focused on, sensitising the faculty members on using advanced technology in PGDM programme delivery, resulting in overall globally oriented development, skill enhancement and employability of the students.
The orientation programme included rigorous brainstorming sessions for innovative pedagogy, value-added certification courses, skill-enhancement programmes, research methodology included in summer internship and dissertation.
This programme witnessed meticulous discussions and reforms regarding the subject matter.
